The Architectural Foundation of San Francisco (AFSF) is thrilled to announce our 2018 Summer Design Institute!

Open to any high school student, you can choose between two 3-week sessions: June 11-29 or July 9-27.   Both run Mon. – Fri., 9am – noon, and tuition for either session is $2,000 which includes all materials and supplies. For more info, see:

Due to unusually high demand, the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco (AFSF) announced that we are offering another session of our annual Summer Design Institute.  In addition to our regular June session (June 13-30), which is almost full, we have added a new session in July:

 

July 10-28 (except no program July 13-14).

Announcing the 2016 Summer Design Institute

June 6-24, 2016

The Build San Francisco Summer Design Institute is open to high school students with an interest in architecture, design and urban development. In a fun and fast-paced three week summer program, the Summer Design Institute offers students an opportunity to develop their own design skills and to create a portfolio of work that they can use for college entrance requirements and career opportunities. In this unique program, students will be able to learn drawing techniques, 3D modeling, photography and video and work with a range of computer aided design tools from the Autodesk family of drawing, modeling and animation software.
